Dog Gone with Eric Squires

Levi and I had some good times on his latest adventure through the great Union. Along his westward march he happened upon the burgeoning city of St. Louis. His round trip after reaching this magnificent metropolis was 212 miles. But diverting his attention upon his arrival was the City Museum. The City Museum is a refurbished shoe factory located in downtown St. Louis. It stands at coordinates (38.633615, -90.200621) as a testament to rebuilding and recycling. the entirety of the exhibits are created from either archaeologic finds or recycled materials from old St. Louis. His reception home after the museum and long car ride brought his total travel distance to 1785.06 miles. But forever he will remember his trip down the monster slide which dropped him 3 floors over a span of 40 yards.

Levi traveled 219.7 miles round trip from Wham to the Fox Theatre in St.Louis MO.
The ride was long seemed like corn field after corn field. We arrived ahead of time and got a great parking spot. Levi liked not having to walk far in the dark in a big city. Levi enjoyed seeing the big city much diffrent than Carbondale. He enjoyed Phantom of the opera. We were in the front row so we saw everything. The phantom spooked Levi a few times. We started on our way home and a car almost hit us but thankfully it hit the concrete divider. Levi had an exciting trip with us to St.Louis. Levi has traveled a grand total of 1573.06 miles so far.

Peyton and Levi = Good Times

Levi traveled 7.7 miles with my daughter and I to the Apple Festival Parade in Murphysboro. It took us about 25 minutes to drive there, and Ava had a great time entertaining Levi on the way. (I thought I may have to distract her to get him back!) The parade took place on September 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. We had a great time watching the marching bands, floats, and animals that were a part of the parade. We sat with other family members. They all enjoyed getting to know Levi. Levi especially enjoyed seeing other dogs and eating snacks as they went by.
