Lindsey's Travel with Levi

Levi went to Indianapolis this weekend September 26, 2009 to the Upward leadership training seminar. It took 4 hours and 16 minutes to get there which is 264 miles. This was held at the Ben Davis Christian Church. While Levi was there he was able to learn how to play basketball, soccer, flag football, and cheerleading. Levi had a lot of fun learning about how to be a leader in sports, how to have a Christian like attitude, and how to share with others about Christ. He made many friends this weekend and seemed to have an enjoyable time. I did find out that he is a pretty good basketball player! We traveled there and back in a car. Round trip was 528 miles from the Wham building to Indianapolis, IN. We had a great time!!The corresponding latitude and longitude is 39.748 and -86.269. Levi has traveled a total of 1345.66 miles!!!

Levi and The Rain's Family

Levi's newest adventure on September 15, 2009 was to the Quetil Trail in Alto Pass, IL with Tara and her family. The Quetil Trail, now a hiking trail, was part of the railroad that the St. Louis and Cairo Narrow Gauge Railroad used. This actual site was abandoned in 1981. Levi had a lot of fun walking down the nature trail with Kayden, my 19 month old son, and looking at all the scenery. On this venture Levi traveled 33.66 miles round trip from Wham and for a grand total of 817.6 miles!!!

Levi and Melissa

Levi went back to the 1950's, when he went with Melissa and her family to their annual family reunion in Woodstock, IL. This year along with Levi, everyone celebrated by dressing and dancing to the fashions and music of the 1950's. We all had a wonderful day with family and friends. Levi now has two new friends, Sierra and Nola(Melissa's daughters). Levi kept the girls busy on the long 392 mile trip to Woodstock on September 4, 2009.
Not only did Levi have a blast from the past, he was able to visit the historic Woodstock Square. The square is known for its original brick road, historic buildings, and the set of the movie Groundhogs Day.
We all headed home on September 7, 2009, tired and wore out from the weekend fun. Levi will be well missed in the Wallace household. The girls want to know when he can visit again. All in all Levi traveled 784 miles from Wham.
